The Weagree Wizard’s WYSIWYG view (underwater screen) styling can be customised in several ways to more closely match the contract’s preview in your browser to the final Word or PDF document. This can be achieved from the Administrator page.
1. Determine which Word template (dotx-file) is used for generating a document:
a. On Contract creation, find the template to be used and click the pen-and-paper icon next to it (Edit template in the Template Creation Tool).
b. If the pop-up Edit the template settings does not immediately open, click on the designated icon.
c. Take note of the selected dotx-file.
2. Open the settings for the WYSIWYG view (underwater screen):
a. On Contract creation > Contract house styles > Dotx-files and WYISWYG view, click the pen icon next to the aforementioned dotx-file.
b. Ensure a style has been selected in each of the dropdown menus in the Dotx style name column.
c. Click the indentation icon (Configure clause numbering and indentation settings).
3. Configure any of the following clause numbering and indentation settings:
a. Number style: the basic numbering for this style name.
b. Formatting for number:
i. Use the tag [this] to refer to the style name you are editing. For example, if the number style is set to “1, 2, 3…”, then [this] will be replaced in the WYSIWYG view by such a number.
ii. Use the tag [parent] to refer to the style name which must supply the preceding number.
iii. You can insert other characters before or after [parent] and [this] tags. For example, if the first subclause of the first clause should be numbered “1.1”, with a period separating the numbers, you would insert “[parent].[this]” (without quotes).
iii. Use of the [parent] tag in subsequent style names will let you string numbers together to create such numbering as 3.1.6 or 2.a(i).
c. Style: bold, italics, underlined and text colour.
d. Parent style: the Weagree Wizard style name which must supply the preceding number (if the [parent] tag is being used).
e. Aligned at (in cm): the position of this style name’s number relative to the left margin of the WYSIWYG view. This value is not relevant for styles without numbers.
f. Text indent at (in cm): the position of this style name’s text or other contents relative to the left margin of the WYSIWYG view.
4. The default settings can be restored by clicking Reset.
5. Click Save when finished.
