Contract automation and contract management system Admin tooling

Contract automation admin video tutorials

Our contract automation administrator video tutorials demonstrate how to insert a template by yourself, how to organise your contract know-how, and how to configure your Weagree Wizard portal (incl. plugins and external integrations).

Under heading A (together 35 minutes) you will learn how to insert a complete template by yourself, with all basic questionnaire elements included. Advanced topic-specific tutorials are under headings B and C.

Every video tutorial is between 1:20 and 6:50 minutes (on average 3:50 minutes, together 2:40 hours). Enjoy!

A. Getting started

A.1. Quick orientation on the Administrator tooling - 1:57 min.

[This administrator page has been redesigned, so as to make it more intuitive. A getting started video will be added here shortly]

Please continue with video tutorial A.2

A.2. Quick orientation on the Template creation tool - 2:57 min.

A.3. Templates: building blocks and contract clauses (left side) - 3:57 min.

A.4. Start inserting your model contract - 3:56 min.

A.5. Inserting your model contract; the template outline - 6:54 min.

A.6. Building your questionnaire (Q&A elements 1/2) - 3:59 min.

A.7. Building your questionnaire (Q&A elements 2/2) - 3:46 min.

A.10. Automated import of your Word-document - 4:08 min.

A.11. Optimising the formulation of your Q&A (by non-admins) - 2:44 min.

To divide template insertion work between senior lawyers and paralegals: video tutorial A.11 demonstrates how senior counsel can formulate the questionnaire (with all related Q&A-elements) with the template-insertion-work done by more junior coworkers (or Weagree’s support team). All Q&A questions and related elements appear in one single dialogue screen:

B. Inserting your template and questionnaire (tips and tricks)

B.1. Overview of all advanced tutorial videos - 10:09 min.

In this video tutorial B.1, we will give an overview of the video tutorials:

B.2a. Choice questions: radio buttons, dropdowns, checkboxes - 4:03 min.

This video tutorial revisits video tutorial A.7 (and largely repeats aspects of that tutorial) on inserting radiobuttons (multiple choice), dropdowns and checkboxes (optional alternatives).

B.2b. Choice questions: Q&A-checkboxes - 2:19 min.

B.3. Choice questions: Q&A-radiobuttons, dropdowns, checkboxes (advanced aspects) - 2:36 min.

B.4. Defined terms and definitions - 5:58 min.

To optimise your contract know-how management and maximise reuse of contrract building blocks (while ascertaining the highest standard of contract drafting), the Weagree Wizard gives definitions a special treat:

B.5. Schedules and annexes - 4:34 min.

B.6. Cross-references (all aspects) - 4:10 min.

In contracts created with the Weagree Wizard, cross-reference cannot go wrong, and inserting them is easy. In this tutorial, we explain how it works:

B.7. Party details and other CRM information - 6:20 min.

B.8. Tables - 4:10 min.

B.9. Columns - 1:24 min.

B.10. Captions (clause headings) - 2:04 min.

C. Advanced topics

C.1 Global questions (1/2 Introduction and global editable fields)

During a questionnaire, you want to avoid asking the same question twice. That’s what global questions are for:

C.2 Global questions (2/2 Global choice questions)

C.3 Lookup lists

[Under construction]

  • Introducing the concept (and examples)
  • Distributing choice results
  • Implementing corporate policies
  • Party references in case of large numbers of contracting parties
  • Creating and modifying lookup tables
  • Uploading a lookup table (from your spreadsheet)
  • Triggering lookup values
  • Lookup tables and global questions

C.5 Calculations and number-formatting

Weagree’s contract automation wizard permits automatically calculating a value and inserting the result into the contract text.

Also, it is possible to enforce a number formatting (it reinforces consistency and permits exporting of entered or calculated data to external IT systems and into the CLM).

C.6 Calculating a date (and insert it into the contract)

In the Weagree’s contract automation, you can produce a date into the contract text, based on a calculation (how it works, is explained here). For example, automatically ‘calculate’ what a contract’s termination date is (and insert it into the contract) by using the effective date + 365 days (presuming the effective date is a known date).

C.7 Applying authorisation levels in templates and Q&A

C.8 Preparing your Word-document

[Under construction]

  • Search-replace all: [gq.Party1] and [gq.Party#]
  • Identify places to insert definition tags
  • Identify the annexes
  • Tag for editable fields
  • Tag for choice-elements
