We will enable our customers to conduct their contract negotiations entirely within the Weagree Wizard. The contract negotiation tools will include the ability to generate intermediate versions (with mark-up and conversion of communications in Weagree to comments in Word). Even if your supplier, customer or business partner will not directly negotiate with you through Weagree, you will still benefit from using this tooling for internal ‘negotiations’.
To accomplish this, various existing features will be further improved, expanded and combined. Alongside the contract creation questionnaire, Weagree already provides for comments, for discussions, and for automatically generating character-level track-changes (distinguishing insertions and deletions in a clause). All such discussions and negotiations can already be continued outside the Q&A, in the contract entry’s file. Weagree already permits guest user access, and internal colleagues can be @mentioned in all such comments, discussions and negotiations. There is already a clause library functionality, allowing standardised clauses to be directly plugged into any contract. And Weagree’s AI-automated review interface already supports the automated import and styling of documents not originating from Weagree.
The end result will be that documents can be uploaded to Weagree, automatically analysed by the AI, fully edited on-screen (taking advantage of several of Weagree’s automation features) through a dedicated interface and discussed within Weagree (while permitting differentiation between internal and external communications). After making changes, Weagree will be able to generate new drafts with tracked changes and explanatory comments. And finally, records will be kept of the changes in Weagree’s database, so that each version of the contract remains immutably on archive regardless of what happens to any generated Word documents or PDFs.
