Global questions only need to be answered once to affect multiple parts of a template. Ordinarily, they are all listed on the first page of the questionnaire. Where a global question appears in the questionnaire can now be made context-dependent, namely on the template building block in which it is first triggered. This will allow such global question to appear on the same questionnaire page as other, non-global questions in the same building block. This improves end-users’ understanding of the Q&A-question, makes the questionnaire more coherent and makes it possible in especially elaborate questionnaires to reserve the first page for the most essential global questions.
