Instead of having the administrator curate a single list of persons authorised to e-sign on behalf of certain entities, the (default) signatories will be pulled directly from Weagree’s entity management. E-signing authorisation can be granted to (or withheld from) individual managing directors, supervisory directors or representatives of any entity. When that entity is party to a contract, the indicated individuals will be available as signatories. In a subsequent update, filters will be added for automatically narrowing down the list of signatories even further, based on type of contract (template), user groups and organisational units.
Organising signatories is now more intuitive, transparent and powerful, and in the hands of the proper persons (those who are tasked with corporate housekeeping, not necessarily the general portal administrators). Both the end-user and your organisation as a whole will benefit greatly from the resultant tighter control over who may or may not sign and when.
