The contract lifecycle management (CLM) permits date-fields to be used to create triggers for automatically sending (one or multiple customised) e-mail notifications in relation to key contract deadlines and the expiration date. Default notifications are configured by the admin; end-users can manually fine-tune these or define their own (contract-specific) notifications.
