While the CLM already provided for advanced notifications and email alerts (whether preconfigured by the admin or tailored by a careful contract manager), it is now possible to send automated notifications in connection with pending contract tasks. As the due date for completing a task approaches, Weagree will send the assignee of the task (or any other designated person) an email reminding them that their input is required.
Configuring the notifications for tasks works the way it does in connection with CLM-managed contracts: the admin may set certain defaults (for ease-of-use as well as security), while conscientious and careful users can configure their own task-specific notifications. To keep things manageable, like all Weagree notifications, individual users can choose how to receive them: one by one as due dates approach, or collected in a daily summary of new Weagree notifications.
