All user-entered values can be automatically formatted, using jurisdiction-appropriate separators (period or comma) for numbers larger than three figures and for decimals, as well as truncation of decimals. The user can be forced to enter a correctly formatted value (input validation). This number formatting and validation improves consistency across contracts and facilitates API integrations with external applications.
