Building on Weagree’s existing mailbox functionality, properly storing emails in Weagree will be made possible. All emails related to a contract will be saved in and directly accessible from the Weagree contract’s repository (both precontractual and post-signing). Whether the contract is still in the drafting stage or already signed and managed in the CLM, all correspondence will be immediately available at all times. The repository inbox will display the emails’ details like an email client such as Outlook would. Combined with existing full-text search capabilities, finding the right email whenever something needs checking or confirmation will be a cinch.
Because there is also in-app collaboration (communications among users in a questionnaire or contract), the communications so collected will consist of (a) contract-related emails, (b) in-app communications involving external parties (the supplier, customer or partner), (c) in-app internal deliberations (any discussions or clarifications among Weagree users involved in the transaction), and (d) all approval-related communications (any soft conditions imposed in connection with an internal approval, or a clarification why a submitted request was rejected). In short, Weagree can encompass the entirety of written communications related to the contract, resulting in a complete and accurate digital file.
When used in conjunction with a SharePoint-integration, the above feature will prove to be particularly powerful, as it is the last step in matching the features available in generic DMS applications. To further accelerate saving from Outlook on SharePoint, an Outlook-embedded application such as Harmon.ie could be implemented.
