Every now and then, people ask us about Weagree’s non-contracts capabilities. It always makes me reluctant, as we only deliver ‘excellence’, not mediocre or half-baked tools.
We are ‘deep into’ contracts and contracting. That is where we claim excellence, where we meet our promises on end-to-end contracting. But sometimes, what I see as a sneeze that competitors disproportionally pride themselves on, turns out to be a valuable by-product. After all, the best cycling teams have spare wheels on the shelf:
This summer, we are going to release several ‘excellent’ functionalities:
- Advanced org charts: the very best org chart tooling worldwide (enterprise-grade, so with numerous advanced, easy-to-use filtering and carve-out options, snap-to-grid).
- Litigation management: easy monitoring-and-reporting on pending claims and litigation (powerful, thanks to our recent upgrade of SharePoint-integration options on one hand, and on the other hand Weagree’s automated tasks Kanban options)
- IP management and ships-fleet management: Weagree’s CLM is easily extended to managing assets and registrations (after all, our repository supports document-renewal deadlines, deadlines can be calculated applying variables, and CLM notifications are integrated with Weagree’s automated tasks Kanban – what else do you want?).
- Large-transactions management: a few tweaks to improve user experience. Weagree already supports the management and monitoring of related contracts (LMA financing, M&A transactions, construction projects, intra-companies’ agreements, or framework agreements with SOWs and work orders.
It is exciting that customers ask us about Weagree’s capabilities. It keeps us sharp.
What also keeps us sharp are online benchmarks: box-ticking of available features in the substantial functionalities of Weagree. Such box-ticking checklists revealed excellence in adjacent fields of legal practice; that Weagree’s:
- Approval workflows are (at least) in the top 10 percentile of all workflow tooling worldwide.
- Entity management (corporate housekeeping) is one of the best (all features you may need – with only two features to follow: the advanced org charts next month, and automated cap-chart tables once a customer may ask for it).
- Automated tasks Kanban is as good as high-end tasks management applications (and Weagree is super easy to configure).
Excellence, that is one of our values. Not mediocracy.
