Various functionalities of the Weagree Wizard can generate e-mail notifications. It is possible not just to customise the text of each, but also their overall appearance and styling, using general notification templates. These are collected and configured on the Administrator page under Configuration Weagree Wizard > Notification templates.
1. To insert a new notification template:
a. Click Insert.
b. Insert a description that is sufficiently self-explanatory for users.
c. Click Save.
2. Click a notification template’s description to edit its description. Click Save when finished.
3. Click a notification template’s information icon to see a preview.
4. Click the pen icon to edit the notification template’s contents:
a. If applicable, switch Use custom text to the ON position (this is required to edit the default template and any translations).
b. The Body field contains the elements used for the e-mail notifications’ appearance and styling. Clicking on this field will make a bar with various buttons appear for text-editing purposes.
Note: of particular mportance are the two left-most buttons. The first maximizes the edit-field and also dispalys additional buttons, for example for the insertion of lists or images, for undoing actions, for cutting and pasting, and for directly editing the underlying HTML code. You may fully define the look of your notifications with common HTML code (including CSS). The second button, labelled Tag, opens a dropdown menu of tags that you can use to insert the Body tag where the actual contents of the notifications should be inserted. The other tags are best used in those notifications, rather than the template you are editing here.
c. If multiple user-interface languages are activated on your Weagree portal, you may add a translation for each. In the text editor’s popup, there will be a subtab for each language. The first is the default language. Click on another subtab and then enable the Use custom text option to insert a translation in the Body field.
d. Click Save.
5. Click Delete to remove any selected notification template.
